Arctic Power Systems opened its doors for business in 1981. Since its inception, the Company has grown from a 1 crew operation operating in the Yukon to one of the largest privately owned power line contractors in Western Canada. We provide province-wide service to BC Hydro and numerous other clients, including Fortis BC, Petro Canada, Imperial Oil, Atco Utilities, Atco Electric, Murphy Oil, Metro Can Construction, Rogers Cable, Bell Mobility and Telus.

Arctic Power is headquartered in Surrey, where it is managed and administered by a responsive and stellar staff of dedicated people. It has seven store-yards and two additional operations centres located strategically across the province of British Columbia. It is well equipped with a fleet of digger derricks, single and double bucket trucks, cranes, 4X4 trucks, all terrain vehicles, nodwells with cranes, stringing equipment, trailers, underground vans and much more operated by a well trained and competent operational staff.
